Fact of the farm Act as it now sets the responsibility of the farmer and now no politician will be able to place the suicide of any farmer at the door of the ruling party.
- Secondly it offers a new avenue for the farmer to negotiate regular prices by which he will be able to get a profit out of it rather than just making a Farming a subject to be avoided.
- Thirdly he has now the option at looking at producing different crops and vegetables and Fruits according to the demand.
- Fourthly he will be able to dictate terms to his local MLA or MP and not BE TREATED AS A TOOL in their hands and be a useful commodity during the time of elections.
Farmer in case of a contract supply , the buyer has to provide for the transport, he has to pay to the farmer the contracted price subject to quality and standards, and EVEN IN THE CASE OF A FLOOD OR DROUGHT the CONTRACTED PRICE HAS TO BE PAID and the loss is taken in by the buyer. This is another nail in the coffin for the PROFESSIONAL POLITICIAN. ; he will lose the opportunity to derail the Parliament by raising the Bogey of the loss suffered by the farmer!
